Wizkid & Tems reunite at Essence Festival for sensational performance.
Nigerian superstars Wizkid and Tems delivered an outstanding performance of their popular tune ‘Essence‘ at the 2023 Essence Festival in the United States.
Recently, Tems and Wizkid performed their international collaboration before an admiring crowd at the Essence Festival in the Caesars Superdome in Louisiana, USA.
The Grammy-nominated song “Essence” was performed live by the Nigerian superstars last night, Sunday, July 2, as they stormed the annual Essence Fest.
Each performance still seems new and exciting to fans who are captivated by the song, even after they have dazzled audiences with their popular duet numerous times.

Since its debut as one of the songs on Wizkid’s Fifth album, “Made In Lagos,” in 2020, “Essence” has achieved widespread popularity, making it into the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and earning two RIAA Platinum awards.
‘Essence‘ is one of the biggest Afrobeats exports internationally and it has enjoyed impressive success in the US and the UK where it charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Chart respectively.
The remix, which featured Justin Bieber, reached No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single was also a commercial triumph, winning platinum awards in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa, and other countries.
