Wizkid previews two new songs as he gears up for the release of ‘Morayo’
Nigerian megastar Wizkid has ramped up excitement for his upcoming album “Morayo” by giving fans a sneak peek of two new tracks, sparking anticipation worldwide. The previews, shared on social media, display Wizkid’s signature fusion of Afrobeats, R&B, and pop, with catchy melodies and infectious rhythms that promise to be instant fan favourites.
Wizkid recently hosted a special listening party in London for his highly anticipated single “Piece of My Heart” featuring Brent Faiyaz, following a similar event in Paris where Brent Faiyaz also appeared.
The London event, which was exclusively for female fans, featured a tease of two upbeat Afrobeats-influenced singles from his upcoming sixth album, “Morayo.”

Fans and critics have noted the irony of Wizkid showcasing Afrobeats tracks after previously distancing himself from the genre in a public rant.
However, the teasers suggest that “Morayo” will indeed include significant Afrobeats elements, and Big Wiz confirmed that the album will feature collaborations with Nigerian stars.
“Piece of My Heart” marks the beginning of the “Morayo” era, an album dedicated to Wizkid’s late mother, who passed away in 2023. Wizkid has described the project as his best work yet, with his collaboration with Brent Faiyaz offering fans a glimpse of what’s to come.
For Brent Faiyaz, this collaboration with Wizkid is his second with a Nigerian artist, following his feature on “Found” from Tems‘ successful EP *If Orange Was A Place*.
