    Ayo Balogun, commonly known as Wizkid, will create history by being the first singer from Nigeria to perform in a World Tennis League match.

    He will perform among other top performers from the industry, like NeYo, Armin van Buuren, and more, at the World Tennis League, which will start on December 19th, 2022.

    The Grammy-winning performer has revealed that he will take the stage the following day, on December 20, 2022.

    The event will take place at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.

    In other news, Wizkid has been trending on social media for days after failing to appear for his live concert at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana and now more news on how much he was paid for the show has come to light.

    Wizkid enraged fans after he failed to appear at the “Wizkid Live Concert” organised by Live Hub. According to reports, fans waited until 4 pm before giving up and leaving without seeing Wizkid.

    According to details provided by industry insider Arnold Asamoah, Big Wiz also made sure that his lodging, travel arrangements, and other logistics were covered. Additionally, he asked that all supporting acts be paid in full before taking the stage.

    Arnold Asamoah Baido has revealed, in a social media post, that Wizkid was paid $8000,000 for the Accra show.

    He was also paid $25,000 as travel allowances.

    In other news, A viral video of Afrobeats Star Wizkid’s parents Mr and Mrs Balogun and veteran fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall (KWAM1), has triggered reactions on the internet.

    The Music star’s mum and dad were given special recognition at a recent event they attended, where K1 De Ultimate was performing.

    The clip captured the moment KWAM1 recognized their presence as they joined him on stage and rained a mint of N1000 notes on them.

    Guests present also joined at the moment before Wizkid’s mum took her exit from the stage area.
