Wizkid Becomes The Second African Artist In History To see out Ziggo Dome
In the Netherlands, Wizkid broke a record and became only the second African artist in history to sell out an international concert venue in the country.
Wizkid has successfully sold out the 17,000-capacity Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam ahead of his Made In Lagos event on Thursday, November 24, 2022.
Ziggo Dome posted an official statement about this accomplishment on social media on November 22, 2022. Even before the release of his fifth studio album, “More Love Less Ego,”
Big Wiz has also sold out the Madison Square Garden in New York, the United States, achieving yet another historic milestone.

Recall that on the 14th of April 2022 Burna Boy performed at the Ziggo Dome as part of his Space Drift Tour., making him the first African artist to do so. The concert was initially supposed to have taken place on the 2nd of March 2022 (previously postponed from the 15th of November 2021).
Burna Boy tore up the podium of the Ziggo Dome with his Formula 1 car. His spectacular live performance ensured that no one could stand still and everyone went wild with dancing in a sold-out Ziggo Dome!
It was a great concert with great vibes. Hit after hit was received with loud applause by the audience. The African giant has made it an unforgettable evening!
