2019 brought forth a bright and magnificently talented singer who presents himself as Rema
Divine Ikubor aka Rema is a 19-year-old fast-rising sensational singer, hip hop rapper, songwriter, stage performer, and model
Rema came swinging out the gates early this year with his mega-hit; “Dumebi“
The singer is an artist under Mavin records, which is admittedly one of the biggest record labels in the country.
The “Bad commando“ crooner went on to record several other bangers which include among which include; “Corny“, “Spiderman“, “American Love“ and “All is in order“ alongside other Mavin Artists.
Rema’s career seems to be a rather exceptionally smooth one as he has made several huge achievements just for a really short time.
Within the space of one year, the singer has won “Next rated“ at The Headies, and “Best music video” at AFFRIMM19.
Asides these awards, he also has his song; “Iron man“ included in Barack Obama’s summer playlist of 2019, and “Dumebi” which is unarguably his biggest song to date topping the iTunes charts in Nigeria.
Within the blink of an eye, the singer built himself a large and rigid fan base home and abroad and is successfully skating to a global level.
There is however a man behind his successes, who cannot be ignored. Micheal Collins Ajereh popularly known as Don Jazzy is the C. E. O of Mavin, and is also one of the biggest and most talented producers, in the music industry

However, the current generation Wizkid cannot be overlooked as he is still one of the biggest Nigeria’s Afrobeats act who is currently pushing African music to a global level.

He was also one of the first few Nigerian singers to go international, especially with his hit single; “Daddy Yo“, and his classic jam featuring drake “Come closer“.
When it comes to vocal skills and artistry, we can’t deny the fact that Wizkid and Rema have this unexplainable melody which gives a unique touch to their music.
Now let’s imagine these two doing music together, it would be so Divine. I can’t even bring myself to think about the massive explosion it would cause in the music industry.
Not just that, imagine the song was produced by Mavin boss, Don Jazzy. We all know Don Jazzy for a long list of hits he has produced.
This song will no doubt become an anthem that will take over the music scene, all will remain a hit for a very long time
Then the biggest icing on the cake, imagine the song gets released before the end of this year, let’s say by December.
I can proudly vouch that it would outdo other songs even the ones that have been released since the beginning of the year.
Unfortunately, this is just a beautiful dream of mine. However, I do believe in miracles and maybe, this beautiful dream of mine will come true!
