The afrobeat superstar Wizkid has regained the number one spot on the Billboard World Album Chart.
With his latest album, “Made in Lagos,” Nigerian afrobeats superstar Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known as Wizkid, reclaimed the top spot on the Billboard World Album Chart.
Recall, Big Wiz’s “Made in Lagos” debuted at the top of the Billboard chart in August 2021, replacing the album “The Best” by Korean pop band BTS.
According to the most recent chart update, ‘Made in Lagos,’ which was fourth last week and second two weeks ago, has topped the chart this week, followed by ‘Attacca,’ by South Korean boy band Seventeen.

Interestingly, CKay, a popular Nigerian singer, is ranked third with his 2019 EP, ‘Ckay the First.’
The iconic ‘Made in Lagos’ record has spent a year on the Billboard World Album Chart, the longest time any Nigerian or Afrobeats act has ever remained there.
