Nigerian music superstar, Wizkid has received another nomination for his 2019 collaboration with Beyonce, ‘Brown Skin Girl.’
Beyonce was joined on the track by Wizkid and American rapper SAINt JHN from her 2019 soundtrack album The Lion King: The Gift.
The nominations for the 2021 MTV Music Video Awards (VMAs) have just been announced, and the song is up for Best R&B and “Best Cinematography”.
‘Leave the Door Open‘ by Bruno Mars, Anderson.Paak, Silk Sonic, ‘Go Crazy‘ by Chris Brown and Young Thug, ‘Heartbreak Anniversary‘ by Giveon, ‘Come Through‘ by H.E.R. ft. Chris Brown, and ‘Good Days‘ by SZA are among the other songs in the category.

Wizkid has received several awards as a result of this collaboration. He has two Soul Train Music Awards, two BET Awards, an NAACP Image Award, and a Grammy Award in 2021 for Best Video.
Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, on the other hand, received a nomination for ‘Best Art Direction’ for Beyonce’s ‘Already,’ which also features Major Lazer.
