Afrobeat Superstar, Wizkid was recently sighted in London with Ghana’s King Promise, who was holding his BMI Award for his contribution to Drake’s global hit “One Dance.”
On Thursday, July 22nd, 2021, King Promise released a video of himself and Wizkid celebrating the BMI Award on Snapchat.
They are seen clutching the award in a lounge setting with guests while Mr Eazi’s Skintight plays over the speakers in the video.
The video of Wizkid clutching the BMI Award in his hands was uploaded by King Promise, who wrote;
“London what you sayingggg … sun is out ! boutta be a mad summer”.

Interestingly, Wizkid has had an incredible year so far, and the BMI Award is just the beginning.
Furthermore, Essence, from the singer’s current album, Made in Lagos, has been shattering records on Billboard all year. It also just charted in the top 30 in the United States on Apple Music.
The Singer has lately spent a lot of time in Ghana and is only now arriving in London to begin his Made in Lagos tour.
When asked why he thinks Wizkid prefers to live in Accra, King Promise stated that the serenity and tranquillity that Ghana exudes could be one of the reasons.
