Wizkid responds to Odumodublvck’s claim That Tems & Ayra Starr surpass Wiz, Fela and Burna Boy
Nigerian superstar Wizkid recently reacted to a video where Odumodublvck stated that Ayra Starr and Tems have achieved more than himself, Burna Boy, Fela, and other notable artists.
In a post on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Wizkid responded to Odumodublvck’s controversial comments made during an interview.
Odumodublvck had stirred up debate by claiming that Tems and Ayra Starr have outshined Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, as well as contemporary icons like Wizkid and Burna Boy.
Speaking on the ‘Cocktails & Takeaways’ podcast hosted by Madame Joyce, Odumodublvck praised the two female artists for their remarkable achievements, particularly in light of the challenges they face in the music industry, such as sexual harassment and intense competition.
"What Tems and Ayra Starr have done is bigger than anything Wizkid, Burna Boy and Fela have done."
