Wizkid set to launch jewelry line.
Nigerian Afrobeat-fusion artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, has disclosed that he is venturing into the business of luxury jewelry production.
He declared his intention to launch a jewelry line, some of which will be his own creations.
During an interview with journalist Adesope Olajide at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London, Wizkid made this statement.
The 80,000-person stadium will host the More Love, Less Ego performance by the Starboy founder on June 29, 2023.
The ‘Smile’ singer was wearing a diamond neck chain and pendant that he says he crafted with celebrity designer Eliantte.
The neckpiece he was wearing, according to him, is the first of six chains that will be launched this year.
“This is actually the first piece that I designed, myself with Eliantte the jeweler. This is the first of six pieces that I’m making this year, and yeah I’ll start up my jewelry line,” Wizkid said in response to a question about the expensive chain.
