The 2024 Flytime Fest began spectacularly as Nigerian hip-hop icon Olamide and American rapper Gunna headlined the opening night of one of Nigeria’s most celebrated annual music festivals.
Taking place at the iconic Eko Hotel, the event marked a triumphant return to the big stage for Olamide, who delivered an electrifying performance.
With his catalog of hits spanning over a decade, the YBNL boss reminded fans why he remains one of the most influential figures in Nigerian music. His setlist included hits from his latest project, *Ikigai*, as well as crowd favorites that have defined his illustrious career.
Gunna, performing in Nigeria for the first time, wowed the audience with renditions of his global hits, including “Fukumean,” “Yosemite,” and “Drip Too Hard.”
His energetic stage presence and smooth delivery were a perfect complement to the Afrobeats-heavy lineup.
