    Renowned Nigerian singer and performer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, has shared insights into his current favorite Nigerian artists.

    On Monday, November 20, 2023, via his social media platform, Wizkid highlighted musicians whom he finds entertaining and musically impressive.

    Among his list of current favorites are Rema, Asake, Odumodublvck, Bloody Civilian, and Shallipopi. Wizkid, known for consistently supporting emerging talents he finds promising, generated conversations across social media with this revelation.

    While fans eagerly await Wizkid’s return, they also appreciate his dedication to enjoying and promoting good music during his time off.

    Recall, Amidst a wave of criticism from his fans due to his decision not to release new songs, the award-winning artist Wizkid has sent a heartfelt message to his fan base, known as Wizkid FC, expressing his genuine love for them.

    The situation unfolded when Wizkid was faced with a fan’s impatience, who playfully threatened him with “God of Iron” (Ogun) if he didn’t release new songs.

    The fan’s message read, “Afa drop songs now Abi Ogun they kill you.”

    In response, Wizkid, who is currently enjoying life in Lagos following his late mother’s burial, jokingly stated that he would be taking a break from music for 4 to 5 years, hinting at exploring a new profession.

    Wizkid wrote, “Una papa dey holiday oo, make I enjoy…back in 4 years. Make una papa chop him money small…”
