Wizkid gains US Gold certification for his MIL album
Wizkid has broken a new record by being the first African musician in history to achieve an unprecedented feat as his album ‘Made In Lagos’ bags a US certification.
With one of his best albums, “Made In Lagos,” Wizkid broke numerous records and made history by becoming the first African musician to accomplish an unheard-of feat in the US.
Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos‘ album has been certified gold by the RIAA in the United States, making him the only African musician to receive this honour.
The album, which was released on October 29, 2020, was certified gold by the RIAA on August 25, 2022, after selling more than 500,000 units in the United States.
Although African songs have been RIAA certified, this is the first time an African album has received such an honour.
Congratulations to the starboy.
