Afropop Music Star, Wizkid has eventually received his personal Grammy plaque for winning Best Music Video at the 2021 Grammy Awards, which took place in March of that year.
At the 63rd Grammy Awards in Los Angeles which was held on the 14th of March, Wizkid alongside Beyonce and her daughter, Blue Ivy won the best music video for their hit song “Brown Skin Girl,” which was a hit from The Lion King: The Gift Album.
Tagged as the biggest award an artist can get, Wizkid made history that night, winning alongside his Nigerian colleague, Burna Boy, who won in the Best Global Music Album category.

Burna Boy recently posted on social media that he had received his own plaque. However, on June 23rd, Wizkid’s official news source confirmed the ‘special delivery’ via its Instagram page, confirming that ‘Big Wiz‘ had also received his own plaque.
