Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Wizkid has set a new record, becoming the first African artist to appear on Billboard Korea Top 100 song list, which also includes Adele, Meek Mill, and Ed Sheeran.
The talented afrobeat singer Wizkid has become the first African music act to feature on Billboard Korea Top 100 song series, alongside Adele, Meek Mill, and Ed Sheeran amongst others.
This was revealed via Instagram on Sunday, the 14th of November 2021.
Wizkid’s Essence was named on the Billboard Korea’s Top 100 songs to look out for, along with US rapper, Meek Mill and British singers, Ed Sheeran, and Adele.
Recall, Big Wiz has been a prominent worldwide music artist this year, with his Essence single featuring Tems performing numbers leading him to his second top 10 Billboard US chart appearance.

Essence is a song from the Nigerian superstar’s most recent studio album, Made in Lagos, which came out in 2020.
The remix, which was released earlier this year, included a guest appearance by Justin Bieber.
Starboy’s Essence was included in Billboard Korea’s top 100 tracks to look out for, along with songs like Ed Sheeran’s Bad Habit and Adele’s Easy on Me.
