Daniel Regha blasts Big Wiz for trying to gain the spotlight by throwing shade at Davido
Critic Daniel Regha has criticized singer Wizkid for attempting to gain attention by attacking his colleague, Davido. Recently, Wizkid took to his X page to throw shade at Davido, calling him “Frogido” and claiming he lacks talent. This sparked mixed reactions from fans and netizens, who expressed displeasure with Wizkid’s comments.
Daniel Regha shared his opinion, stating that Wizkid is trying to remain in the spotlight by constantly taking shots at Davido. He added that truly great individuals need not boast about their accomplishments to feel validated.
He wrote…
“The fact that u can’t promote ur music or stay in the limelight without intentionally disrespecting ur colleagues, shows u need others to remain in the spotlight. Someone who’s big doesn’t need to remind the public of their status & accomplishments.”
In addition to his criticism of Wizkid, Daniel Regha also came to the defence of Davido, the DMW boss, following the shade thrown at him by Wizkid. Regha expressed his support for Davido, stating that the singer has consistently proven his talent and success over the years, and does not deserve such unwarranted criticism.
Regha emphasized that Davido’s contributions to the music industry speak for themselves, and he shouldn’t be subjected to disparaging remarks from anyone, including Wizkid.
He further noted that engaging in petty feuds only diminishes the integrity of those involved, advising Wizkid to focus on his music rather than trying to stir up drama.
