Wizkid reveals why fans of his music who do not comprehend his lyrics continue to like it.
Ayodeji Balogun, best known by his stage name Wizkid, has disclosed why his music is loved despite people not understanding the lyrics.
According to Starboy, the fact that music is a universal language explains why individuals from many nationalities have been positively impacted by it despite not understanding what he sings.
He claimed this during an interview with a child presenter and actor on Jazzy’s World TV regarding his sound and the global adoption of Afrobeats.
Big Wiz was taken aback by her intellect throughout the interview when she stated that she like his music but does not fully comprehend the lyrics.
Wizkid, however, replied by defining music as “a universal language, and what you feel in your soul.”
The award-winning singer also said that apart from Afrobeats, he loves Reggeaton and has friends who do that genre of music.
