Grammy-award-winning singer, Wizkid has become the most awarded African music act in MOBO Awards history.
After securing two wins at the just concluded MOBO Awards, Wizkid hits a milestone as he becomes the most awarded African music act in MOBO history.
This year’s edition of MOBO that celebrates the music of Black origin was held at the CBS Arena on the 5th of December.

The Starboy who prior had secured three wins at the MOBO awards, incepting from his 2011 win as the Best African Act to his 2017 Best International Act, with a close-up for his 2020 Best African act win, adds two more wins to his catalogue.
He secures the spot of the Best African Act and Best International Act at this year’s award, making a total of 5 awards!
In total, he has been nominated eight times with five wins.
