Big Wiz becomes double certified in Canada
Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid or Big Wiz, has expanded his record and certifications in Canada with two different songs.
The year 2022 keeps getting better for Starboy Wizzy, as the official account for Gold and Platinum Canada, which is the authorized account for Music Canada’s certification, announced yesterday, Monday, February 7, 2022, that the popular singer has just bagged two additional certifications with two different songs.
Wizkid has received Gold certification for his worldwide smash single “Joro,” as well as Platinum certification for his record-breaking song “Essence,” which features Tems and is on his “Made In Lagos” album.

“Essence” is Wizkid’s second song to get certified Platinum in Canada after the hit “Come Closer” off his ” Sounds From The Other Side” album that features Grammy awarding winning rapper Drake.
Recall also in January that Mp3bullet.ng reported that the superstar had earned double certifications in the UK.
