Wizkid and Sarz reunite, hinting at potential new music collaboration.
Nigerian global sensation Wizkid and renowned record producer Sarz have sparked excitement among fans with a recent photo that hints at a potential collaboration. The certified hitmaker Sarz, who played a crucial role in Wizkid’s early career and co-produced the chart-topping “One Dance” featuring Drake, joined forces with Wizkid, P2J, and P.Priime in a recent studio session.
Wizkid, with a repertoire of over five albums and numerous collaborations, stands as Africa’s most celebrated pop artist. Sarz, having been instrumental in producing some of Wizkid’s major songs across two albums, “Joy (Ayo)” and “Sounds From The Other Side,” brings a history of successful collaborations with the artist. Sarz’s production credits also include Wizkid’s collaboration with Drake on the hit “Come Closer.”
The history between Wizkid and Sarz is notable, with their collaboration dating back to the time before Wizkid’s “Superstar” album, when he was relatively unknown. Despite facing financial constraints at the time, they eventually went their separate ways, but within a year, Wizkid became a superstar.
Additionally, P2J, recognized for his work on Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos” album and its Deluxe version, has displayed exceptional production skills on Wizkid’s global projects, prompting discussions about potential Grammy recognition.
The reunion of these talented individuals has generated excitement within the music industry, with fans eagerly anticipating what could be another groundbreaking collaboration.
