Nickelxon releases a powerful Afro-fusion ‘Wild & Innocent’ EP filled with real-life stories.

Wild & Innocent is Nickelxon’s newest EP, and it may be his most emotional and brave project so far.

The Nigerian Afro-fusion artist opens his heart in all seven tracks, talking about real experiences that many young listeners can connect with, like disappointment, gratitude, dreams, and family.

The project mixes Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afro-swing, hip-hop, and Nickelxon’s unique style to create a sound that feels fresh yet familiar.

The EP took almost a year to make. According to Nickelxon, some moments in the studio were so emotional that he cried while recording. That honesty can be heard in every track, making the EP feel like reading pages from his diary.

Nickelxon produced, mixed, and mastered every track himself, proving that he’s not only a singer and rapper but also a serious music creator.

The EP is based on real moments from his life, and he even said there were times he cried while recording some parts. This is why the songs feel honest and easy to connect with.

Below is a simple breakdown of every track on the EP, using direct lyrics to help explain each message clearly.

    1. Spray the Mullar — A Song About Success and Confidence

The opening track, “Spray the Mullar,” is full of confidence and energy. Nickelxon celebrates his wins after going through pain. The beat has strong drums and a catchy rhythm that feels perfect for parties or celebrations.

    He sings:
“Mo lowo, mo lowo, make you shake body… all the guys we go spray the money.”
These lines show joy and excitement, like someone finally enjoying the rewards of hard work.

    When he adds,
“I don make the dough, all the girls go fall for me,”
it reflects confidence and the feeling of stepping into a new phase in life.

    2. Fix Things (feat. Annie Zanda) — Love That Needs Healing

This track talks about two people trying to repair their relationship. The lyrics are simple and emotional, making it easy for a young person to understand.

    Nickelxon sings:
“Baby I’m catching cold, be like this love thing choke.”
This shows how overwhelming love can feel when things are not going well.

    He adds,
“Face me and face you, I will call you when I miss you. If I’m down be my peace.”
These lines explain the need for peace, honesty, and support in a relationship.

    3. Friend Indeed (feat. Gambit) — Real Friends vs Fake Friends

This song teaches an important lesson about loyalty.

    Nickelxon reminds listeners:
“A friend in need is a friend indeed, no go dey look me throw away face.”

    He then encourages appreciation:
“If you get friend wey dey support your matter, thank him.”

This song is perfect for teens who are learning how to identify real friendships.

    4. Fever (feat. Freeedy) — A Fun Love Vibe

“Fever” brings a sweet and catchy energy to the EP. Nickelxon sings about a girl who makes his heart race.

“Oh girl you give fever, see the way cold dey catch me, na you dey make me shiver.”
These lyrics describe strong attraction in a playful and youthful way.

    He adds,
“If you tell me make I run, I go run.”
This shows how deeply he cares.

    5. Dear Mama (feat. Track) — A Heartfelt Tribute to Mothers

This is one of the most touching songs in the EP. It’s a thank-you message to his mother for all her sacrifices.

    He sings:

“For the life you gave to me, for all the battles that you fought for me, for all the books you bought for me.”

Then he follows with a promise:
“I will be grateful for life, thankful for life… dear Mama.”

This track will connect strongly with anyone who loves and appreciates their parents.

    6. Benz — Chasing Dreams While Staying Smart

“Benz” talks about ambition, money, and staying sharp in life.

    Nickelxon sings:
“Na Benz we dey pull up, na money she want no be true love.”
These lyrics reflect the distractions that come with success.

    He adds,
“Before man go chop, he must play wayo.”
This shows how tough life can be and the need to stay smart.

    7. Champion Dance (feat. Onyebuchyy) — A Celebration of Freedom

The EP ends with a loud and energetic track.

    Nickelxon says:
“Extrovert no be introvert, I no go lie, we don dey outside.”

The song celebrates joy and confidence.
    The playful but strong line,
“Any man wey no get money na dildo,”
shows the bold and unapologetic nature of the song.

Final Thoughts: Wild & Innocent Is Made for Young Hearts

Wild & Innocent is an inspiring Afro-fusion project that teaches young listeners about self-confidence, family, friendship, and hope. The beats are catchy, the lyrics are easy to understand, and the emotions are very real.

Nickelxon shows that you can be “wild” with expression yet “innocent” with your heart, a balance many young people can relate to.
