Why West Ham rejected Arsenal’s £90m Rice bid?

Declan Rice was the subject of a £90 million ($115 million) proposal from Arsenal, which mp3bullet can explain why West Ham refused.

According to BBC Sport, Arsenal’s second offer for the Hammers was £90 million, with £75 million being provided upfront. West Ham’s asking price has not yet been met by Arsenal, who recently acknowledged that he is “99% sure” the Europa Conference League champion will leave the club this summer.

They are refusing to sell Rice, who has recently emerged as one of the Premier League’s top midfielders until they receive a higher price.

West Ham also requests a new payment plan in order to avoid spreading the cost over several seasons and enable them to reinvest funds more rapidly. West Ham is not under any pressure to agree to a lower price because they have the option to extend Rice’s contract until 2025.

Rice has also been associated with Manchester City, and it’s possible that the treble champions will want to get him, which could drive up the cost of the player. Despite their propensity to move quickly, Arsenal also seems to have other objectives, like Southampton’s Romeo Lavia.

Since Rice participated in England’s Euro 2024 qualifying matches, he is expected to take a rest before a decision is made about his future.
