Singer Portable has shed light on the reasons he was beaten by yet-to-be-identified persons who raided his home.

Earlier, Mp3bullet reported that the singer disclosed he was beaten and was rushed to the hospital.

Going on his Instagram lice, he explained that a certain Death Row Records from the US  sought to collaborate with him and reached out to his manager for payments last year. After the payment, he said they did not turn up, and they reached out again this year, which according to him, is a “new year” – connotatively saying a new deal should be made.

Narrating further, he said, both parties agreed to shoot a video and record a song, which was done at Ajah area of Lagos, however, things turned after the whole shoot.

Portable exclaimed that he was then bullied and later dealt with about “30 persons”.

Death Row was founded by Suge Knight and home to the famous Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre and late 2Pac.
