This is what Kizz Daniel must do to reach the level of Wizkid and Davido
This is a critique based review of the acclaimed underrated stereotype, carefully written about Kizz Daniel’s musical career, its an unsentimental opinion and perhaps not equal to facts what Kizz Daniel must do to reach the level of Wizkid and Davido.
Kizz Daniel is one of the most talented artists in the industry that has been tested and trusted, he had already stamped his name in the book after proving himself over the years.
He came into the industry with his smash single ‘Woju’ one of the biggest songs of 2014, commercially diffused to a cultural moment, literally owning his game, did the remix in less than 6 months with Tiwa Savage & Davido that made his debut more memorable, serving hits back to back.
In 2016 he dropped his debut album ‘New Era’ with ‘Woju’ and Laye as lead singles, it then becomes one of the top 10 all-time debuts by a Nigerian artiste in history, Kizz Daniel apparently had a solid start hence the question, is Kizz Daniel underrated? Let’s find out
In maintaining the top spot in the industry, you have to balance the local and international, this is simply through features and/or by stretching of hand, all of these can be achieved even without changing sound, so that’s not an excuse.
Kizz Daniel hasn’t been able to do any tangible UK/US Collaboration except Major Lazer’s joint with Kranium on “Loyal”
Does he have the range? Yes, he’s vast enough and can blend to any international Collaboration style, take a small toll on his discography, you will see how he handles some songs with a different vibe.
‘Sin City’ was a Caribbean style, different from his usual sound but still he delivered, so why won’t he kill international features? Imagine a Skepta and kizz Daniel joint, Dave, J hus, Stormzy, Popcaan, or even a Koffee Collaboration?

Let’s stroll to the US, Doja cat, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, Gunna, Swae Lee, Tony Montana, Young thug, Future? I think Kizz Daniel can get a feature from two or more artists listed therein.
How about working with international producers, the Nigerian music industry has gained worldwide attention that even a newbie can easily get a Collaboration without the help of an international label.
Rema didn’t spend more than 2years in the industry and yet he had already secured some important features, including Canadian superstar Drake, even newbie, Omah Lay and Fireboy DML had collaborated with foreign acts.
Swizz Beatz is an iconic music producer that has good relationships with most Nigerian artists, why not stretch hands or perhaps spend some coins to get an important Collaboration.

One of the major reasons that Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade are rated the way they should, is simply because of their international involvement.
Do you still underestimate the power of international Collaboration? No, it shouldn’t be underestimated, Kizz Daniel needs an international Collaboration, not just at random but important features.
However, let’s come down to the basic problem, Kizz Daniel lacks a good artist-fan relationship, he barely interacts with his fans on social media, as a matter of fact, he had so many fans but could not convert the majority to stans.
He ghosts every time on social media, self-isolating from important music conversations, he literally needs to build his fans from scratch, one may think it could be linked with his lifestyle, maybe, he just doesn’t want all that industry buzz.
In conclusion, after some critical Review opinion, Kizz Daniel is not underrated, he just needs to find a balance between international and local markets to foster his already established position at solid Top 5.
