Tems performs from ‘Born in the Wild’ at the Jimmy Fallon show

In other news, Tems achieved a historic milestone with her debut EP, “For Broken Ears,” receiving a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). This certification marks a significant achievement, as Tems becomes the first Nigerian female artist to have an RIAA-certified project.
Released in 2020, “For Broken Ears” features seven tracks, including the hit singles “Free Mind” and “Higher,” both of which have enjoyed substantial success in the United States.
The EP’s gold certification indicates that it has surpassed 500,000 in sales in the U.S., highlighting its widespread popularity and Tems’ growing influence in the international music scene.
