A video showing Patoranking’s daughter, Wilmer, snatching the microphone from her father to perform his new song, “Celebrate Me,” went viral on social media on August 10, 2021.
Nigerian music fans and social media users alike reacted with wonder and appreciation to the video. Despite the fact that her lyrics were muddled, fans praised her refined accent and delivery.
