You’re not leaving this country – Seun Kuti accosts man at airport for threatening him online (Video)
Controversial Nigerian singer Seun Kuti found himself in a heated confrontation captured on video at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos.
According to the footage, Seun alleged that the man he was confronting had previously made threats on social media, prompting him to address the situation as the individual was about to leave Nigeria.
The man, claiming to be an American, asserted that he had no intention of engaging in a confrontation with the musician and was simply heading home to the United States. Despite this, Seun insisted that he would not permit the man to depart and vowed to prevent the checking of his international passport at the airport.
Seun stated firmly, “Nobody is checking your passport; you have a case in this country. You are not going anywhere… You wan go home.”
The American man warned Seun not to challenge him, suggesting that he would make phone calls. However, Seun, the son of the late Fela Kuti, remained steadfast, asserting that they would not leave the airport until they resolved their dispute.
Meanwhile, in the background of the video, an onlooker recording the incident on their phone seemed to be trying to side with the saxophonist.
