A video that shows the moment well-known Nigerian singer Mayorkun deftly dodged a question about his relationship status during an Instagram live session has surfaced online, and as a result, it has elicited conflicting reactions from online users.
In the video, Mayorkun, who was originally signed to Davido’s DMW, is seen chatting with well-known Nigerian media figure Ehiz as the IG live was going on.
However, during the Instagram live session, the presenter, Ehiz, who plainly knows that Mayorkun rarely speaks about his love life chose to ask the singer if he has a girlfriend and that was just the beginning of drama in the IG live session packed with admirers.
Dadaboy Ehiz asked, Do you have a girlfriend or have you ever had a girlfriend?
Responding, Mayorkun who doesn’t want to disclose his relationship status says, “ehn, ehn,wetin dey do this network?”
Cleary aware that Mayorkun is lying against the network, Ehiz uttered, “Nothing dey do this network, I dey hear you from your side.”

Mayorkun: “Ehn, I no dey here you wetin u dey talk?”
Ehiz: “I said have you ever had a girlfriend?”
Mayorkun: “If I ever?” then the singer jokingly remained adamant as he intentionally paused and acts stagnant just like statue and by extension got the host, Ehiz and other people on the live laughing as they never see it coming.
The continues for some moments until Mayorkun disclosed that there is a girl she liked at the moment though the singer has never disclosed that he is in any committed relationship.
Mayorkun has been linked to being in a relationship with UK-based Nigerian choreographer Cocainna as their loved-up photos and videos have surfaced online some months ago.
