Nota regrets taking his family to counselling sessions.
Despite recommendations from fans and followers on social media, Nota Baloyi won’t be visiting a therapist.
Along with being erratic on social media, he also enjoys criticising his ex-wife, Berita. Some others advised him to seek treatment, but the critic dismissed their counsel as a waste of time.
Baloyi discusses his regrets about putting his family in therapy on Twitter.
“Taking my family to therapy was the worst waste of money… Imagine sitting in a room with your abuser & being forced to accept that they refuse to even admit what they did, take accountability, or apologise. Then you still pay for being re-traumatised. I don’t recommend it anymore,” he wrote.
Relatedly, Baloyi, a South African music executive, has once more raised questions about the state of his mental health. This came when he turned to the internet to mark his wedding anniversary even though his wife Berita had left him. Nearly a year has passed since they split up, and Berita claims she has no intention of getting back together with Nota, who still follows her on Twitter.
People who commented on the post either commended Nota for his tenacity in getting Berita back or mocked him for being fixated on her.
Berita Khumalo permanently departed her marital residence in January 2021.
The afro-soul singer clearly had grown tired enough of her husband Nota Baloyi’s numerous social media outbursts
Nota has developed a reputation for criticising local celebrities and making contentious claims that have previously gotten him into trouble.
