I’m behind Portable’s ordeal – Portable’s Ex-signee Manny Monie.
Manny Monie, Nigerian upcoming artist and former signee to the controversial singer, Portable’s records label, has acknowledged being responsible for the singer’s current issues.
In a social media video that quickly went viral, Manny Monie confessed that he had petitioned the police to arrest Portable.
He continued by saying that after three months, Portable still had not responded to the petition.
Recall that Portable had in November assaulted his signee, Manny Monie, for allegedly using another distributor.

Moreover, Portable stated that he generates millions of naira at the studio in a matter of days, but that he was startled to see sales of just N7,000 upon his return after a month-long trip.
Manny Monie, however, said that even after receiving N700,000 from him to feature in one of his songs, his former boss still accused him of being a scammer.
In his words:
“I was the one that wrote the petition against Portable, no be today we don write petition, we don write petitions since last year December. The police tried their possible best, they called him. They gave him three months at least to come to the police station to tell his side of the story about beating him and making false claim about him online.”
