VIIRAL’s New London (Osapa London): A Bridge Between Dreams and Destiny

Singer, Viiral has released a new single, London (Osapa London).

    VIIRAL - LONDON
    VIIRAL – LONDON

VIIRAL has released a new single, ‘London (Osapa London)’  which unveils like a diary entry written in melody and a vivid snapshot of longing, ambition, and transformation. Rooted in the city life of Lagos yet reaching for the cold embrace of London, the song brings to light the duality of belonging and becoming. Osapa goes beyond the joyfulness of a new release, it is a journey that bridges the physical and the personal while carrying the weight of a young artist’s dream lifting off,

It was produced in 2023 with heavy originality and rawness in its creation. In the studio with Eternal Africa, VIIRAL caught lightning in a bottle. An infectious instrumental hit his ears, a beat so alive it practically demanded his story. Without overthinking, he jumped on the mic and let it flow, creating a freestyle that felt true and perfectly deliberate.

At its heart, the track is a meditation on transition. There’s a bittersweet pull between what VIIRAL leaves behind and the dreams he chases. Osapa’s familiar streets give way to London’s unique promise, and in his voice, there’s both the weight of the past and the bright urgency of the future. The song doesn’t simply narrate this shift rather, it brings it to life with every lyric carrying the tension of change.

VIIRAL himself is a study in evolution. He was previously known as Lordevickz when he began his musical journey in Lagos and where his knack for rap earned him accolades and recognition. But as his artistry deepened, so did his understanding of his strengths. Initially, he rebranded as Viralboy and later as VIIRAL, he found his voice—literally and figuratively in a style that blends the energy of Afrobeats, the groove of Amapiano, and the soul of reggae and hip hop. His inspirations include Wizkid, Fela, Bob Marley, and Michael Jackson.

Eternal Africa’s production in London (Osapa London) strikes a delicate balance between accessibility and introspection. The Amapiano flourishes give the track its pulse, while the Afrobeats foundation anchors it in the familiar. It’s the kind of song that works as well on a dancefloor as it does in moments of quiet reflection, offering both movement and meaning.

With London (Osapa London), VIIRAL doesn’t just announce his aspirations; he manifests them. It’s a song of arrival, not in the sense of a destination reached but in the sense of an artiste fully stepping into his power. As the track makes its way into playlists and hearts, it carries the weight of a story both deeply personal and universally resonant.
