WATCH: A new era for the Blues begins as Mauricio Pochettino arrives for his first day of work as Chelsea’s manager.
Mauricio Pochettino, the new manager of Chelsea, has formally assumed charge for the first time.
The Argentine manager was pictured coming to Chelsea for the first time since his appointment as the club’s new manager. Pochettino returns to English coaching for the first time since leaving Tottenham Hotspur in 2019.
Chelsea will be hoping for stability under Pochettino after a disastrous season in the 2022/23 season under three different managers – Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, and Frank Lampard – that saw them finish 12th in the Premier League.
This month, the Blues will embark on a pre-season tour of the United States, where they will face Wrexham, Brighton, Newcastle United, Fulham, and Borussia Dortmund.
