Sebastien Haller enjoyed his emotional return to competitive action on Sunday for Borussia Dortmund after his battle with testicular cancer.
Recall, A testicular tumour was discovered in July and the attacker had surgery to have it removed. The Ivory Coast international’s battle did not end there, however, as he had to have a second operation in November.
Haller joined Borussia Dortmund last summer, but his debut didn’t come until the 4-3 victory over Augsburg on Sunday because he needed surgery to remove a tumour.

After 62 minutes, the striker came off the bench to make his debut competitive appearance, taking Youssoufa Moukoko’s place. After the final horn, Haller carried his kid onto the field.

Haller will be hoping to play again on Wednesday when his club takes on Mainz in the Bundesliga.
