Victor Osimhen speaks out on potential summer transfer.
Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has not ruled out leaving the Serie A team this summer transfer.
Osimhen, a Nigerian international with a contract that runs through 2025, has scored 18 goals in just 19 league appearances for Napoli this season, and some of Europe’s top teams have expressed interest in signing him after the season.
According to reports, Chelsea have identified Osimhen as their top striker target for 2023, while Manchester United are also known admirer of the 24-year-old.
When asked about the interest in him, Osimhen told ESPN that: “When you are doing so well, top clubs around the world are watching, mostly in the top five leagues.

“And to be able to attract interest from these top clubs shows that I am doing great and it gives me the motivation to do even more for myself and my team.
“But I am focused on Napoli right now and they have the final say. I just want to help my team to win matches and win trophies. At the end of the season, we will see what is going to happen, but that is not up to me. It is for the club to decide.”
Osimhen, who is regarded as one of the best up-and-coming attackers in the game, is expected to fetch close to €150 million (£132 million) from Napoli, according to sources.
Despite their significant expenditure of more than £600 million already under Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital, Chelsea are not believed to be deterred by that amount.
