Victony’s outlaw EP surpassses 250 million streams
Soon after his debut album release, Nigerian artist Victony’s “Outlaw” EP has surpassed 250 million streams on Spotify.
This impressive milestone solidifies the project’s status as the third most-streamed Nigerian EP of all time, trailing only “Ckay the First” by CKay and “For Broken Ears” by Tems. Released in 2022, the “Outlaw” EP has been steadily gaining popularity and recognition.
Victony’s success extends beyond Spotify. His music has also gained attention on other platforms, such as Apple Music, where the “Outlaw” EP is available in Spatial Audio.
Additionally, Victony has been named an Apple Music Africa Rising artist, highlighting his potential and the impact of his music. There is no doubt that Victony is poised to become one of the most influential artists in Nigeria.

In a recent interview with Apple Music Africa Now Radio, Victony, who recently released his debut album “Stubborn,” shared insights into the inspiration behind the album. Victony, one of Afrobeats’ most creative artists, has gained global recognition for his innovative music and visuals.
His hit single “Soweto,” featuring Don Toliver and Rema, enjoyed worldwide success in 2023, and he released “Stubborn” on June 21, 2024.
Discussing the inspiration for the album, Victony told host Nandi Madiba that the project was inspired by his journey to success. “Looking back at everything I’ve been through – my come-up story and how I’ve defied the odds. I’ve stayed true to myself and kept my eyes on the goal all along. Nothing else has been influenced by decisions,” he explained.
