As the year winds down, Victony is setting the stage for an intimate celebration of music, growth, and gratitude.
The Nigerian singer, born Anthony Ebuka Victor, will headline a special end-of-year concert titled The Bonfire Experience on Sunday, December 21, at the Glitz Event Centre in Lekki, Lagos.

The show is shaping up to be more than a regular concert. For Victony, it represents a moment of pause, a chance to gather with fans and friends who have walked alongside him through every phase of his journey.
He has described the event as a shared experience, rooted in appreciation and reflection, rather than just another night of performances.
Victony’s rise has been anything but overnight. His story stretches back to 2016, when he began experimenting with music online, uploading freestyles and rough-edged mixes to SoundCloud.
Those early releases, driven by curiosity and persistence, slowly earned him a loyal audience even before the spotlight found him.
In August 2020, he took his first major step with the release of Saturn, a debut project that revealed his range and hinted at the depth of his songwriting. Momentum soon followed. Tracks like Ina Benz pushed him into wider conversations, firmly planting his name within Nigeria’s fast-moving mainstream music scene.
The turning point came in 2022. Soweto, produced by Tempoe, exploded beyond borders, becoming a viral sensation on TikTok and social media platforms worldwide. Its success led to a remix featuring Rema and American rapper Don Toliver, further expanding Victony’s reach. The song went on to chart across multiple territories, including the UK, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Canada.
Rather than riding the wave passively, Victony leaned deeper into his craft. In June 2024, he released his sophomore album, Stubborn, a project praised for its emotional clarity and polished sound.
Across the album, he unpacked themes of love, endurance, and self-awareness, strengthening his reputation as one of Afrobeats’ most introspective young artists.
Now, with The Bonfire Experience, Victony appears ready to close the year in a way that feels personal and meaningful. The concert is expected to reflect not just how far he has come musically, but also the community that has carried him through setbacks, breakthroughs, and reinvention.
As 2025 approaches, the night promises to stand as another defining chapter in Victony’s evolving story one told through sound, connection, and gratitude.
