Victony Set for Kampala concert this month
Kampala is gearing up to host another Nigerian artist this year as sensational singer Victony prepares to headline the 3rd edition of the Malembe Block Party in Kampala at the end of April.
Known by his real name Anthony Ebuka Victor, Victony has garnered a dedicated following with his hit tracks such as “Soweto,” “Kolomental,” “Apollo,” and his recent release “Everything.” His collaboration with Patoranking on “Babylon” further solidified his reputation in the Afrobeats scene.
Victony’s performance was confirmed in March when Malembe Lifestyle announced him as the headliner for their upcoming Block Party. The Malembe Block Party has a track record of bringing popular Afrobeats artists to Uganda.
The inaugural event in 2019 featured WSTRN and Joeboy, while the 2022 edition saw a performance by the UK group NSG. This year’s event, scheduled for April 27 at Lugogo Hockey Grounds, will be headlined by Victony.
While details about opening acts and DJs are yet to be revealed, organizers Malembe Lifestyle have a reputation for curating exceptional lineups. Co-organized by NRG Radio, Nzou Media Hub, Fenon Records, and NTV Uganda, the event promises to be an unforgettable experience.
Tickets for the Malembe Block Party are available on Quicket in three tiers: Bronze (Early bird) for Ugx. 50,000, Silver (Early bird) for Ugx. 100,000, and Golden Circle for Ugx. 300,000. Fans can expect a night filled with pulsating Afrobeats rhythms and unforgettable performances.
