Vic O recounts why his rumoured collaboration with the American rapper never materialized.
Victor Ncha Odu aka Vic O, has taken to social media to explain why a song he was supposed to record with American rap mogul Jay Z never materialized.
According to the rapper’s statement, before he travelled to Nigeria in 2011, a fan pretending to be Jay-Z’s sibling contacted him and said the two wanted to record a song together.
Unfortunately, the rapper lost all of his contacts when he arrived in Nigeria 11 years ago, making it impossible for him to contact Jay Z’s alleged brother.

However, word of the upcoming collaboration had already spread, and the Nigerian musician said he was asked about it during an interview.
He captioned the video as:
The Truth about #jayz & I Vic.O having a track together. And I want to advice other public figures out there.. Before taking any news to social media or interviews do your findings well before doing that.. Believe me I’ve learned my lesson from this single mistake….. Remain blessed and stay safe.”
