Vector Clears Wizkid, Shares How Everyone Is Guilty in Viral Video, Netizens Hail His Smart Response

Donβt attack only Wizkid, everyone is guilty β Rapper, Vector
Vector has stated that Afrobeats superstar, Wizkid, should not be the only one receiving criticism for saying rap is dead and that the genre is underrated.
Wizkid made news a few days ago when he stated the rap genre is boring and dead, prompting criticism from Nigerian rappers like as M.I, Blaqbonez, Ladipoe, and Oladips, among others.
According to him, a good rapper is judged on his ability to convey a story through his lyrics rather than how much money he makes or whether he is successful.
Nevertheless, Vector, who was speaking in an interview on Hip TV, added that it is rude to disparage another person’s life or work if you do not fully understand what it is all about or if you are unable to empathise.

He asserted that perspective is everything and that someone who is a pop star would consider the Nigerian rap scene to be in a coma.
He also said everybody is guilty of not supporting rap enough and he found it weird that people were expecting him and other rappers to diss Wizkid even when they do not appreciate Hip Hop as much as Afrobeats.
An extract from his statement read:
“I feel like it is disrespectful to talk down on what people feed on or life as that is how their life is. I feel it is disrespectful to talk down on that if your yardstick of evaluation is not applicable to it. If you are coming from a pop perspective rap would be dead both realities exist simultaneously in their own characteristics.”
