Tyla Brings Her Star Power To Modeling After Conquering Music — See Her In H&M’s SS25 Campaign Here

South African music sensation Tyla continues to expand her artistic reach beyond music as she ventures into the world of fashion modeling.
The Grammy-winning singer has been unveiled as one of the faces of H&M’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, further cementing her influence in the entertainment industry.
The global fashion retailer introduced its latest campaign on Thursday, March 20, featuring Tyla alongside her sister, Sydney Seethal. The “On and On” crooner was seen modeling a pale-yellow oversized shirt paired with a miniskirt, while Sydney sported a ruffled tunic from the new collection.
In a heartfelt moment from the campaign director’s cut, Sydney expressed admiration for her sister’s journey. “She inspires me because it’s like, ‘Girl, how did you do this?’ Just keep doing what you’re doing,” she said. “It’s crazy to see that she’s gone so far, and I see no fear in you.”
Tyla, reflecting on her freedom, shared, “I’m able to just laugh as loud as I want to and yawn as wide as I want to. That’s freedom.”

The campaign, which also features notable figures such as FKA Twigs and Caroline Polachek, is designed to celebrate various aspects of womanhood.
H&M’s design director, Eliana Masgalos, highlighted the inspiration behind the collection in a press statement. “This season, we were inspired by different stages and moments of women’s lives and the richness of femininity,” she stated. “We wanted to offer exceptional pieces that bring energy and light.”

This is not Tyla’s first foray into fashion. In 2024, she starred in a campaign for Gap, marking her initial steps into the modeling industry. However, beyond magazine covers and album art, she is still relatively new to this space.
Fans got a glimpse of her potential on the runway during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, where she delivered a captivating performance of “PUSH 2 START” and “Water.”
Despite her growing confidence, Tyla once admitted that she initially found modeling to be a challenge. In an interview with ELLE, she confessed that it felt “awkward” at first but eventually came to understand the creative process. “I realized that if there’s a bad shot, we’ll get a good one. I’m more comfortable making mistakes,” she revealed.
With her undeniable stage presence and charisma, Tyla has effortlessly conquered the music scene.
If her recent strides in fashion are any indication, she might just establish herself as a force to be reckoned with in the modeling world as well.
