Tyla will perform at the Roots Picnic festival
Grammy Award-winning artist Tyla has been announced as a performer at the upcoming Roots Picnic festival. The South African singer is set to take the stage at the 2024 edition of the festival, which will return to Philadelphia and be held at The Mann in Fairmount Park from June 1 to 2, 2024.
This two-day extravaganza promises a dynamic lineup of R&B, soul, and hip-hop acts, with headliners including Lil Wayne and The Roots, paying homage to Lil Wayne’s hometown, New Orleans.
Sharing the stage with them will be acclaimed artists such as PJ Morton and Trombone Shorty. Tyla will join fellow Grammy winners Victoria Monét and Leon Thomas, among others. The roster for the 2024 Roots Picnic also boasts performances by Babyface, André 3000, Sexxy Red, Gunna, Robert Glasper & Yebba, Marsha Ambrosius, Kenya Vaun, and many more talented musicians.

In addition to her highly anticipated performance at the Roots Picnic, Tyla has revealed exciting updates about her upcoming self-titled album, “Tyla.”
During a broadcast on her Instagram channel, she announced the addition of two new songs, “Safer” and “Intro.” Furthermore, the Grammy winner has unveiled plans for her inaugural tour across the United Kingdom, United States, and Europe, marking a significant milestone in her flourishing career.
