Far from conventional, the Balmain gown was meticulously designed to embody the essence of the “sands of time.” Its form-fitting silhouette, reminiscent of scenes from a Dune movie, showcased intricate details that mesmerized onlookers.
The gown seamlessly blended three distinct sand colors, creating a mesmerizing textural effect, while shimmering micro-crystal studs scattered throughout the fabric evoked the glint of sunlight on desert dunes.

Tyla’s commitment to the theme extended beyond her attire, as she adorned herself with a sleek cat-eye liner reminiscent of Egyptian Goddesses, and adorned her left shoulder with a sprinkling of sand.
Even her nails contributed to the artistic narrative, featuring 3D chain embellishments resembling dripping sand.
Completing her look was a stunning hourglass-shaped Balmain clutch, serving as a literal embodiment of the “Garden of Time” theme.
Tyla’s Met Gala ensemble not only showcased her meticulous attention to detail in fashion but also reflected her dedication to excellence in her life and music.
As she continues to champion the uniqueness of Africa, Tyla emerges as a trailblazer in the global music scene.
