Tyla teases remix of her Grammy-nominated song ‘Water’
Afrobeats sensation Tyla has excited fans by hinting at the release of a remix for her hit single ‘Water‘. The South African superstar, one of the youngest Grammy-nominated singers, teased the upcoming remix on her Instagram, keeping the identity of her secret collaborator under wraps.
‘Water‘ gained widespread popularity, particularly on TikTok, where its infectious dance went viral. The song topped the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, breaking the 58-week reign of Rema and Selena Gomez’s ‘Calm Down‘. In October, Billboard recognized Tyla as the “R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie of the Month.”
Tyla made her U.S. TV debut on the Jimmy Fallon Show, and she earned her first Grammy nomination for “Best African Music Performance” alongside prominent artists such as Burna Boy, Asake, Olamide, Ayra Starr, Davido, and Musa Keys.
While Tyla has previously collaborated with Ayra Starr on ‘Girl Next Door,’ the details of her new ‘Water‘ remix, including the mystery collaborator, are yet to be revealed, heightening anticipation among fans.
