In anticipation of his sold-out event in New York, Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has gotten special recognition from the global social networking app Twitter.

The Grammy-winning singer will perform in New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden today, April 28th, 2022, after becoming the first African artist to sell out the venue’s 20,000-plus capacity.

The verified account of Twitter’s Music page (@twittermusic) has made the artist their banner picture, and profile information, and added the Nigerian flag to their Twitter name to honour the Port Harcourt-born musician.

The event will also be streamed live on YouTube from 2 AM West African Time on Friday, April 29th 2022.

According to the page, @WorldHashflag, the hashtag will be available until the 31st of December, 2022.
