TurnTable Charts data shows how Wizkid, Seyi Vibez, and Davido dominated the first half of 2025

Nigeria’s official music chart platform, TurnTable Charts, has published its Industry Digest for the first half of 2025, spotlighting the songs, albums, and artists that defined the past six months across streaming services, radio, and television.
At the center of nearly every list stands Wizkid, who cemented his place as the nation’s top-performing artist across all platforms. His dominance is fueled by the continued success of his sixth studio album, Morayo, released in 2024.
The project racked up 235 million streams in early 2025, making it the top album, while its standout track, Kese, earned the distinction of being the most-played song on Nigerian radio.
Wizkid’s strong collaborative run featuring Ayra Starr (Gimme Dat), two cuts on Olamide’s self-titled album, and DJ Tunez’s One Condition with breakout star Fola further boosted his reach.
Meanwhile, Seyi Vibez continued his remarkable grip on Nigeria’s street sound, emerging as the most-streamed artist in the country with 297 million streams across platforms.
In 2025 alone, he dropped the surprise 4-track EP Children of Africa, led by the viral hit Shaolin, and followed it with the single Pressure. His guest verse on Olamide’s 99 alongside Asake, Young Jonn, and Daecolm added to his momentum, ensuring his catalogue dominates the streaming space.
Davido also made waves with his fifth album, 5ive, which logged 173 million streams, making it the second-most streamed project of the half-year. The standout single With You featuring Omah Lay became a fan favourite, while Funds featuring Odumodublvck and Chike ranked as the third most-streamed song in Nigeria. Davido additionally ruled radio with an impressive 6.77 billion impressions.
Among emerging forces, Fido scored a breakthrough moment with his viral anthem Joy Is Coming, which dominated both social media trends and charts.
Rapper Odumodublvck also maintained his hot streak, with his project The Machine Is Coming pulling in 82.8 million streams, ranking sixth nationwide. His collaboration with Victony, Pity This Boy, racked up 31.9 million streams, placing it among the top five songs of the first half of 2025.
From Wizkid’s global appeal to Seyi Vibez’s street dominance and Davido’s consistent hitmaking, TurnTable’s mid-year report highlights how Nigerian music continues to thrive across multiple genres and markets.
