Travis Scott Gears Up For WWE Debut On “Monday Night Raw” Netflix Premiere
WWE’s highly anticipated Netflix debut on January 6, 2025, just got a massive boost with the announcement that rapper Travis Scott will step into the wrestling ring.
The news was revealed spectacularly on November 17, during Scott’s performance at ComplexCon in Los Angeles, where WWE legend Paul “Triple H” Levesque made a surprise appearance.
In a viral clip from the event, Triple H, a 14-time world champion and WWE’s Chief Content Officer handed Scott a championship title belt. Scott responded enthusiastically, saying, “Let me know when I can put this s**t to the test. When’s my first day?” Triple H confirmed, “First day for that? Jan. 6th.”
Adding to the excitement, Netflix and WWE announced on November 18 that Scott will not only make his in-ring debut but also helm the theme song for ‘Monday Night Raw.’ This marks a new chapter for WWE, combining wrestling with Scott’s star power as part of its broader push into mainstream entertainment through its Netflix partnership.
Hip-hop has become increasingly intertwined with WWE’s universe. Earlier this year, rapper Sexyy Red made her mark during her debut on ‘WWE NXT‘ alongside Shawn Michaels. October saw stars like Metro Boomin, Lil Baby, and Quavo at WWE’s ‘Bad Blood‘ event in Atlanta, signalling a growing synergy between the wrestling world and hip-hop culture.
Travis Scott’s debut is poised to be a milestone moment, blending his larger-than-life persona with WWE’s high-energy spectacle. Fans can expect fireworks as Scott steps into the ring at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles to kick off WWE’s Netflix era in style.
