Radu Dragusin: Tottenham complete deal for Genoa defender
Tottenham Hotspur has successfully secured the signing of defender Radu Dragusin in a £26.7 million (€31 million) deal from Genoa, as the Romanian international opted for Spurs over Bayern Munich.
In a competitive scenario, Tottenham managed to fend off a late challenge from the German champions, finalizing an agreement that involves an initial payment of £21.5 million (€25 million) along with £5.2 million (€6 million) in add-ons to Genoa.
Despite interest from Napoli, Dragusin chose Tottenham, committing to a contract that extends until 2030 with the London-based club.

Securing a centre-back had become a top priority for Spurs this month, particularly after the team’s vulnerability in that position was evident in recent weeks.
The 21-year-old Radu Dragusin marks Ange Postecoglou’s second signing in January, following the earlier acquisition of forward Timo Werner on loan until the end of the season.
There is a possibility that both Dragusin and Werner could make their debuts for Tottenham in the Premier League clash against Manchester United on Sunday.
The swift ascent of Dragusin’s career continues, having amassed 62 appearances for Genoa in the last two seasons after progressing through Juventus’ academy. His arrival at Tottenham adds another chapter to his remarkable journey in professional football.
