    Global digital music charting, and award platform, Billboard ranked the most-watched artistes on Youtube for different countries across Africa but we would be focusing on Nigeria.

    5. KIZZ DANIEL- JAHO

    Nigerian singer and songwriter, Kizz Daniel is one of the very few artists that truly have no bad song in his discography. Kizz Daniel ranks number five in the list of most-watched Nigerian artistes on Youtube.

    He released Jaho in 2019 after he released his hit song, “Pak and go” as a Christmas gift to fans. Produced by DJ Coublon, the song shows Kizz Daniel’s spiritual side.

     

    4. MERCY CHINWO- OBINASOM

    Gospel artiste, Mercy Chinwo came into prominence with her hit song, “Excess Love’ and since then Mercy hasn’t stopped in dishing out hits. For a newcomer, she has been able to establish herself among A list Gospel artists like Sinach, Tim Godfrey, Nathaniel Bassey. Clinching a spot as the fourth most-watched artist in Nigeria is no small feat.

    Obinasom is Mercy Chinwo‘s lastest 2020 single that speaks of God’s blessings in her life.

     

    3. BURNA BOY FT JEREMIH AND SERANI- SECRET

    Self Acclaimed African Giant, Burna Boy came into limelight with his “Like to Party” but gained international prominence when his 2018 hit single, “Ye” became the most searched song because of Kanye west’s song of the same name.

    In the song “Secret”, Burna Boy enlists the help of American singer, Jeremih and Jamaican dancehall artist, Serani to create magic.

     

    2. DAVIDO FT SUMMER WALKER- D&G

    Davido who clocked ten years in the music industry has had a successful music career so far though not without its challenges. He was ranked as the third most streamed artist in Nigeria within a year period.

    D & G is a song off Davido’s A Good Time album and features the soothing vocals of American singer, Summer Walker. Davido was featured on the American Broadcasting News platform, CNN for donating proceeds made from the song to aid that fight against coronavirus.

    Controversial artist, Naira Marley tops the list as the most-streamed artist in Nigeria, a fact that Youtube confirmed during their launch of its music streaming platform. The Marlian President as he is called released Aye earlier this year.

    In the song, Naira Marley shares his opinion on Life. Stating that Life is simple and that it is only humans that make it complex. He also shares that he is no longer scared of evil people because he knows he hasn’t don’t anything evil.
