2Baba ft Bongos Ikewue-Searching
Serving as a follow-up to his inspirational single, “Rise Up” featuring rapper, Falz, 2Baba teams up with veteran singer, Bongos Ikewue for a love ballad titled “Searching”
The song samples from Bongos Ikewue’s 1978 hit song “Still Searching.”
Produced by Richie, this song sees 2Baba in search of true love; narrating how hard it is finding his soul mate and in desperate need of peace.
The song was released during a controversial time in 2Baba’s life during which his wife, Annie Idibia had called him and his family out on social media.
T Classic- Makaveli
T-Classic makes his debut this year with this rousing summer-Esque banger.
The new school artist who has earned fans with his teens pop anthems shows a different edge to his versatility in music as he dials back from his familiar theme of love and switches things up this time around to present a banger that’s upbeat in nature, giving a feel of summertime goodness and powered with enough potential to light-up the dance floor.
Adekunle Gold ft Davido- High
Adekunle Gold has been on a roll starting with his confident anthem “it is What It is” to his sensual love ballad, “Sinner” and now to his Amapaino styled “High”
Adekunle Gold and Davido team up for their long-awaited collaboration which they titled ‘High” and God, did they deliver.
The over 3 Million views on the music video is enough reason to explain how sweet and enticing the song is and Davido’s verse, has made him one of the hottest cakes in 2021.
Skales ft. Imanse – “I Dey Miss You”
Skales might have started his career as a rapper but his singing abilities have earned him more popularity. While has gained ground this year with his Davido-assisted “This Your Body, in September, he dropped another jam titled “I Dey Miss You”
The song which featured Imanse sees Skales sings about missing his lover and showcases how Love sometimes makes us vulnerable.
Tems-Crazy Tings
2021 has been a good year for Tems; the singer made her debut on Billboard Hot 100 thanks to her sizzling feature on Wizkid’s chart-topping “Essence” and was the only Nigerian on Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy”
This month she released her EP “If Orange Was a Place” but prior to that she released the lead single, ‘Crazy Things”
The slow burn song showcases all the uniqueness fans have come to love about Tems‘ voice.
Joeboy- Alcohol
It was a bit of a surprise seeing Joeboy release a new song as it wasn’t too long he released his debut album, “Somewhere Between Beauty and Magic”
However, the sweet melody of “Alcohol” makes one thank the empawa artist for releasing this song.
Produced by serial hitmaker, Tempoe, this quality melody is energetic with every certainty it would do justice to our speakers and clubs.

Cheque ft Olamide-LOML
Penthauze artist, Cheque is unique and his catchy songs are a testament to that fact. Earlier in the year, he dominated airwaves with the Fireboy DML-assisted “History” and then followed it up with “Call Me Baby”
On “LOML“, Cheque takes us to the top of the ninth with this song, and we’re clearly picking up what he’s throwing down, thanks to his evocative creativity and Olamide’s verse shouting of an all-around advanced sound.
The 26-year-old Ondo State native has set up his umbrella, providing much-needed shade for music lovers, with this moving love storey performed in his wonderful distinctive voice.
Ycee ft Patoranking-Aunty Lovina
Amapiano is the new sound in the Nigerian Music Industry and Ycee takes advantage of this trend to team up with Dancehall king, Patoranking for a banger titled “Aunty Lovina”
The fast-paced Amapiano song has one dancing thanks to Ycee and Patoranking’s dynamic flow.
Olamide, Eskeez – Loose It
While his Ninth album, “UY Scuti” is still gaining traction, Olamide teamed up with Eskeez who also doubles as the producer for the dancehall Esque jam titled “Loose It”
In this song, Olamide shows that no matter the genre, he is ready to deliver.
Johnny Drille-Loving is Harder
Johnny Drille explores the concept of love in this ballad, “Loving is Harder.” In this song, he sings about how loving is harder than people describe it to be.
This track is about the relatable and sincere dynamics of a seemingly toxic relationship, highlighting the inconsistency and craziness that comes with it.
Johnny explores vulnerability while holding on to a relationship that brings him both pleasure and pain.
The song was his lead single off his debut album, “Before We Fall Asleep”
