October came with its many challenges and heartaches but despite everything that has happened so far, we got to experience some good music this month.
Though the #EndSars protests almost put a pause to everything entertainment, Nigerian artists didn’t fail to deliver with soothing songs to help take our worries away.
Here are the top 10 songs that October blessed us with.

Chike ft Mayorkun – If You No Love
Tapping DMW artist, Mayorkun for his sensational song, “If You No Love”, Chike sings about unrequited love with powerful vocals we have come to love.

Joeboy – Lonely
“Lonely” is the first taste of Joeboy’s new album setting the tempo for the much-anticipated project (name not yet disclosed).
Joeboy lays it all on the line on “Lonely,” shooting his shot with the girl he’s had his eye on.
Blaqbonez – BBC
Rapper, Blaqbonez takes the Dancehall path on his latest song, “BBC”. the song was initially supposed to feature alte singer, Santi, however, due to song issue, his verse was removed.
This doesn’t reduce the worth of the song as its still a bop.
Naira Marley – Idi Oremi
To celebrate Nigeria’s 60th year Independence anniversary, Naira Marley decided to bless fans with “Idi Oremi” which is a 2.0 version of his hit song, “Opotoyi”.
The song is produced by Rexxi and it celebrates women’s backsides.
Phyno – Never
Phyno takes us back to his romantic days with “never”. The song which was produced by Blaq Jerzee is a bop and reminds us that Phyno can sing in as much as he is a rapper.
Reekado Banks ft Wizkid- Omo Ologo
While the #EndSars protests were taking a toll on people, Reekado Banks decided to uplift spirits with “Omo Ologo”.
The song featured Wizkid (though this caused a rift between the two as Wizkid felt the timing was wrong). However, the song is a jam.

DJ Neptune ft Laycon- Nobody Remix
“Nobody” is one of 2020 biggest songs but DJ Neptune decided to advance forward with another remix of the song.
This time he features the Winner of the 2020 BBNaija show, Laycon on it.
Wizkid ft Burna Boy – Ginger
Wizkid finally dropped his highly anticipated album, “Made In Lagos” and one of the songs that people were eager for was his collaboration with Burna Boy.
Two of Nigeria’s biggest stars on one song is enough to cause a massive reaction and it did.
Ajebo Hustlers ft Davido – Barawo Remix
Audacious duo & Kpos Lifestyle preachers Ajebo Hustlers advances forward with a remix to their 1da Banton produced hit single “Barawo“.
The Davido aided remix for the conscious number about the diminishing state of the country, extrajudicial killings, and police brutality came during the moment the #EndSARS movement was hitting a fever high across the globe.
Olamide ft Bella Shmurda – Triumphant
Off his recent “Carpe Diem” album, Olamide shares his journey in Music and mental health struggle on “Triumphant”.
The Pheelz-produced record features Bella Shmurda who brought life to the song.
